Mission Statement

This blog has been set up to provide a timeline of events documenting the fabrication of the Moth Boat I'm currently building.  My goal is to provide pictures and notes as to the logical path for decisions on key characteristics of the boat. 

In Watership Down by Richard Adams, one of the rabbits in the warren is known for his enginuity.   Through his quick thinking while the group was being pursued by a threat, Blackberry created a raft from wood on the banks of a stream in order to transport the group across to the safety of the other side of the stream.  As this book provided me a fair amount of inspiration for the fabrication of this boat, I figure that the name of the blog should also be inspired from the novel.
